ນັ້ນແສນຊື່ນໃຈ
Amazing grace!
how sweet the sound

ຊ່ອຍໄດ້ຄົນຊົ່ວຢ່າງຂ້າ
that save a
wretch like me!

ຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງໄດ້ຫລົງ
ພຣະອົງຕາມຫາ
I once was lost
but now am found,

ຕາບອດແຕ່ຂ້າເຫັນແລ້ວ
was now but
blind I see.

2.ບ່ວງມານວາງໄວ້
ທຸກໄພຫລາຍຢ່າງ
Through many dangers,
toils and snares,

ຕາມທາງຂ້າພົ້ນມາແລ້ວ
I have already come;

ແຕ່ເພາະພຣະຄຸນ
ຂ້າຈຶ່ງຄາດແຄ້ວ
’Tis grace hath brought
me safe thus far,

ພຣະອົງນຳຂ້າກັບບ້ານ
And grace will
lead me home.

3.ພຣະຄຸນສອນໃຫ້
ໃຈຂ້າຢຳເກງ
’Twas grace that taught
my heart to fear,

ເລັ່ງໃຫ້ຄວາມຊົ່ວຕ້ອງໜີ
And grace my
fears relieved;

ພຣະຄຸນອັນເລີດ
ປະເສີດຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່
How precious did
that grace appear

ບໍ່ມີໝູ່ມານໄດ້ໄຊ
The hour I
first believed.

4.ພຣະເຈົ້າປະທານ
ແຕ່ສິ່ງທີ່ດີ
The Lord has
promised good to me,

ພຣະທຳໃຫ້ມີຄວາມຫວັງ
His Word my
hope secures;

ພຣະອົງຄຸ້ມຄອງ
ປົກປ້ອງທຸກທີ່
He will my Shield
and Portion be,

ເມື່ອມີສິ່ງຊົ່ວລາວີ
As long as
life endures.

5.ເມື່ອເຮົາໄດ້ໄປ
ຢູ່ເມືອງສະຫວັນ
when we've been there
ten thousand years

ຊ້ານານນັບຫລາຍພັນປີ
bright shinning
as the sun,

ຍັງມີເວລາ
ຮ້ອງເພງສັນເສີນ
we've no less days to
sing God's praise

ເທົ່າກັນກັບ ເມື່ອເລີ່ມຕົ້ນ
