ຈະເຖິງວັນຕາຍ
Someday the silver
cord will break,

ແລ້ວຂ້າຈະໄປພົບ
ອົງພຣະຄຣິດ
And I no more
as now shall sing;

ວີນຍານຈະຮັບ
ຄວາມສຸກສຳບາຍ
But, oh, the joy
when I shall wake

ພາຍໃນເມືອງຟ້າ
ຈະຢູ່ເປັນນິດ
Within the palace
of the King!

earthly house will fall;

I cannot tell
how soon ’twill be;

ແລ້ວພຣະອົງເຈົ້າ
ຈະຊົງປະທານ
But this I know
my All in All

ຮ່າງກາຍງົດງາມ
ອັນບໍ່ຮູ້ຕາຍ
Has now a place
in heav’n for me.

ຈະຫນີຈາກໂລກ
ຫ່າງໄກແສງຕາ
Beneath the
rosy tinted west,

ແລ້ວພຣະອົງເຈົ້າ
ຈະຊົງກ່າວວ່າ
My blessed Lord
will say, “Well done!”

ເຊີນເຂົ້າມາພັກ
ນຳພຣະບິດາ
And I shall
enter into rest.

Someday: till then
I’ll watch and wait,

ຕຽມຈິດໃຈໄວ້
ຮັບພຣະເຢຊູ
My lamp all trimmed
and burning bright,

ເມື່ອພຣະອົງເຈົ້າ
ສະເດັດລົງມາ
That when my
Savior opes the gate,

ຊົງພາຂຶ້ນໄປ
ສະຫວັນຊັ້ນຟ້າ
My soul to Him
may take its flight.
